2021 ANNUAL RANGER MUSTER

The US Army Ranger Association invites you to attend this year's Annual Ranger Muster (ARM).  This year's ARM will occur from July 19-23, 2021, and will be hosted at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Columbus, Georgia.  Events will take place throughout the Columbus-Ft. Benning area, and will be highlighted by the 2021 Ranger Rendezvous, the induction of the 2020 and 2021 Ranger Hall of Fame classes, and the 75th Ranger Regiment's change of command from COL Todd Brown to COL JD Keirsey.  USARA proudly welcomes all members of the Ranger community to participate in the ARM.  Active duty Rangers, veterans, families, and Ranger supporters are all welcome, including members of our sister Ranger organizations such as the 75th Ranger Regiment Association, Worldwide Army Rangers, US Mountain Ranger Association, Sons of Mosby Motorcycle Association, and Killer Mans Sons Motorcycle Club.  Many of this year's events will be held jointly with the 75th Ranger Regiment Association.  

REGISTRATION:

Registration for the event must be made through the Association's website.  Advanced registration permits us to more accurately plan for events and transportation, so we provide a discount to those who pre-register.  Pre-registration is now open at the link on the left-hand side of this page, and will continue through July 18, 2021. 

ARM POLO SHIRTS:

As in prior years, we will be offering individuals who attend the opportunity to buy an ARM polo shirt to commemorate the event.  If you would like to purchase one, please click on this link.  Shirts will be shipped directly from our vendor to your address, so if you would like to be able to wear your shirt at the ARM please be sure to order far enough in advance.  Shirts will not be available for purchase on-site this year.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS:

Rooms are available at the DoubleTree by Hilton from July 17 - July 25 in Columbus, Georgia. The USARA block of rooms is filling up quickly, so please make your reservations by calling the hotel at (706) 327-6868 or by using this link. The rooms are $111/daily plus tax and includes full hot breakfast daily.

RANGER HALL OF FAME:

On Wednesday, July 21, the Ranger Hall of Fame will induct the classes of 2020 and 2021.  The ceremony will be held in Marshall Auditorium at Mcginnis-Wickham Hall (Building 4).

REGIMENTAL CHANGE OF COMMAND:

As mentioned above, the current commander of the 75th Ranger Regiment, COL Brown, will be relinquishing command to COL Keirsey.  The change of command ceremony will take place during the ARM, and all Rangers are invited to attend.  The Regiment will also be hosting other events in connection with its bi-annual Ranger Rendezvous, including static displays and an airborne operation.

PResident's banquet & Guest Speaker:

The President's Banquet will occur the evening of Friday, July 23, 2021.  It will be hosted at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center, also known as the historic Columbus Ironworks.  The banquet will be held jointly with our brethren from the 75th Ranger Regiment Association.  

Prior to the evening's festivities, we will announce the winners of this year's ARM Raffle.  Tickets may be purchased on-site during the ARM, as well as in advance online.

We are proud to announce that our 2021 guest speaker for the President’s Dinner on July 23 will be Tom McGurn, a former Huey helicopter pilot during Vietnam.  Learn more about Tom at this link.

RANGE DAY: 

A “Range Day” will be hosted at the CQT firing range, located adjacent to Ft. Benning, on Friday, July 23.  Participants will need to supply their own firearms and ammunition. Targets, ear and eye protection, and a range safety officer will be provided by USARA.  A barbecue meal will be available onsite, but must be paid for in advance.

CASINO NIGHT: 

USARA will host a Casino night at the DoubleTree by Hilton on Tuesday, July 20.  Proceeds from the event will go to support Ranger causes, including funding for local Ranger events throughout the country, the Ranger Assistance Fund, and the Michael B. Ranger Legacy Scholarship Program.  Food will be available, as will a cash bar.

FIRST ANNUAL RANGER CORNHOLE TOURNEY: 

The First Annual Ranger Cornhole Tourney will be held Wednesday, July 21, and will feature active duty Rangers from the 75th Ranger Regiment.  The event is being put on by Ranger Bobbleheads, and sponsored by both USARA and the 75th Ranger Regiment Association. It will take place at Fort Benning Harley Davidson in Columbus. This is a great event to attend to show your support for active duty Rangers!


TRANSPORTATION: 

Although the ARM is hosted at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, many of the events will occur at other locations throughout the Columbus/Ft. Benning area.  These include:

  • 75th Ranger Regiment Airborne Operation (weather contingent), Fryar Field, Ft. Benning
  • Ranger Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Mcginnis-Wickham Hall, Ft. Benning
  • Ranger Cornhole Tourney, Chattabrewchee Southern Brewhouse, Columbus
  • President’s Banquet – Ironworks Convention Center, Columbus
  • Range Day, CQT Range, Cussetta, GA
  • Infantry Museum Tour, Ft. Benning

Transportation will be provided to some, but not all events, and will be noted on the schedule, which is available through the Association's website.  Public transportation, taxis, Ubers, and car rentals are also readily available throughout the Columbus/Ft. Benning area.
